The global spatial data such as Elevation information from SRTM, ASTER GLOBAL DEM; temperature and vegetation condition information from AVHRR and Landsat can be availed.​

Global Land Cover Data                                                  

 

The global land use and land cover data (upto 100 land  use types) are available under USGS land cover project. 

Meteorological Data                                               

 

The meteorological sub-division wise and homogenous region wise Indian monthly rainfall and temperature datasets

Oceanographic and Meteorological Data                                               

 

The aerosol optical depth over ocean, NDVI, and water vapor bands data are available

Climate Data (NCEP)                                        

 

The global climatological data such as precipitation, sea surface temperature, outgoing longwave radiation that are extensively used in climate studies are available from the Climate Prediction Centre of the National Weather Service.

Water Management Data                            

 

The International Water Management Institute renders the services by providing information on South Asia Drought Monitor, Flood Risk Mapping, Global Environmental flow information System, Irrigated Area Mapping (Asia and Africa) etc. 

Food and Agricultural Data                      

 

The databases within FAO cover a broad spectrum of topics on fisheries and agriculture, agricultural market information system, water resources, water use, non-conventional sources of water etc. across the world.

ESA Sentinel Mission Data Repository              

 

The SENTINAL missions focus on the different aspect of Earth observation; Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Land monitoring etc. 

NASA DAAC

 

Earth observation data from satellite, aircraft and field measurements of NASA and few non-NASA missions are available from EOSDIS.
